Gagarin with a visit to three sites: Hall of Soyuz TMA-M transport ships, space station MIR, International Space Station. Meeting with the Astronaut ***. Lunch. Visit the Mission Control Center ***. Inspection of the Main Flight Control Room of the ISS RS (Russian Segment of the International Space Station), where they will monitor in real time the launch and monitoring of flights of cargo and transport ships, stations and satellites. Excursion to Pulkovo Observatory : Solar telescope, Central Tower, Observatory Park (2 hours) During the excursion in clear weather, it is possible to observe sunspots, protuberances, fibers and chromospheric flares with a special telescope (depending on the situation on the Sun at the time of observation). In cloudy weather it is interesting to see the Sun with the “eyes” of the SDO space observatory and the Pulkovo base in Kislovodsk. In addition, you can see in real-time magnetic storms in the area of St. Petersburg, Faraday's experience explaining the causes of magnetic storms, the Doppler effect, which is the basis for measuring velocities in astrophysics.Lunch.
